Girls In STEM Presenters Wanted
It's that time again! We are looking for workshop presenters for our annual Girls In STEM Conference, which will be held on March 31, 2012. This one-day conference gives 4th - 8th grade girls the opportunity to learn about exciting careers from professional women. The highlight of each workshop is a hands-on activity that shows the girls how much fun a science, technology, engineering or math career can be! Girls In STEM Event Volunteers
There are other ways to get involved at our Girls In STEM Conference. We need approximately 100 general event volunteers to make this day run smoothly; from assisting workshops to chatting with girls during lunch. Please complete our event volunteer application HERE.
Group Volunteer Opportunity
We are looking for a group of volunteers to help us get ready for cabinet installation the week of March 5th. We need 5-8 people to help us move materials out of our supply room and kitchen. If you are interested please email Sharlym Aquino.
Starry Extravaganza
Girlstart is hosting a Starry Extravaganza at Dripping Spring Elementary on March 2nd. We need volunteers to help us set up, lead booth activities, greet families and more. The event will be from 7-8pm with set up starting at 6pm. Please email Sharlym Aquino.
