Summer Camp Scholarships

Girlstart offers FULL Summer Camp scholarships!

A limited number of scholarships are available for families in need of financial assistance. Scholarships are awarded on a case-by-case basis. Applications are reviewed in the order in which they are received. Criteria include but are not limited to:

·         Family Income

·         Number of persons living on income

·         Employment status

·         Special individual/family circumstances

Contact Girlstart at (512) 916-4775 ext. 21 to receive an application for a Girlstart Summer Camp Scholarship. The form, shot records, and proof of income must be submitted BEFORE May 6th, 2013. Scholarship applications will be reviewed by a committee after the May 7th deadline. Girlstart will notify you by phone after May 17, 2013 if your daughter receives a scholarship. Please do not call with any questions regarding the status of your application until after this date. Camps that do not fill are subject to cancellation.
