| NOTE FROM RACHEL |
November is shaping up to be an incredible month at Girlstart! First and foremost, we're hard at work getting ready for our FIRST-EVER Science Extravaganza Community Event on December 1 at the Ann Richards' School. This fun and inspiring event will be free and open to the public! So save the date, and make sure to let your friends know that Dec. 1 is a great day to experience hands-on science activities for the whole family. Speaking of dates, stop by Book People on November 30, December 7, 12, 14th, or 16th! Girlstart volunteers will be there to wrap purchases for tips, and all proceeds will benefit Girlstart. Hey, that's one more thing that you don't have to worry about! And finally, we're proud to announce that our newsletter will now have an Upcoming Events Calendar-- use it to mark your calendar so you don't miss out! Happy Thanksgiving! |
