 NOTE FROM RACHEL

Summer Camp!May means Mother's Day , and at Girlstart, we've come up with something special to help celebrate.

For the first time ever, Girlstart is offering a special card to help you commemorate those people in your life who inspire you. We've timed it for Mother's Day, since so many of us regard our moms as inspirational, but it's available to send to anyone you find inspirational! The card features the artwork of local artist Tammy Jarocki. To send it, all you need to do is go to our website, let us know who you want to send it to, make a donation to Girlstart in the recipient's name, and we'll do the rest!

Speaking of inspirations, we're incredibly proud of the progress our Project IT Girls are making. We're not the only ones who have noticed – check out this amazing writeup on our future IT superstars on Fortune Magazine's CNNMoney.com blog! And we've got another superstar to help our Project IT Girl girls through their next two years – Audrey Warren, Girlstart's new Special Project Director. She comes from New Orleans, and in addition to her incredible experience coordinating youth programs, she's done everything from being a professional bike mechanic to training as a boxer! We're very excited to have her on the team!

We're looking forward to our upcoming summer camps, and we're thrilled to announce that we're almost at full capacity for all our week-long camps, with less than 20 spots left. Check out our summer camp line-up, and make sure to get one of the last spots!
