| NOTE FROM RACHEL |
All you need is love... and Girlstart, to change the lives of girls. Whether you're passionate about making the world a better place for your daughter, you love science and math, you dream of a vibrant future for Austin, or you just can't get enough of giving back, stand tall this month and declare, "I Heart Girlstart!" This month Girlstart spreads the love to girls far and wide at our Valentine Saturday Camp. Campers will take the Valentine Card to a whole new level as they learn the ins and outs of designing and publishing e-cards. We also welcome back a few old flames as our Club Girlstart girls return to our in-school programs after holiday break. We've missed them! Don't worry, we've got even more love to go around! We are registering girls for our summer camps and upcoming day-long, extreme adventure, math and science love-fest, Expanding Your Horizons. Camp Girlstart and Expanding Your Horizons will both show girls that the things they love are bigger and better with math, science and technology. Whether her passion is animals, music, style or a mystery, we've got something she'll love! If you're feeling the love this Valentine's Day why not show your love by giving girls the gift of Girlstart? We've got lots of ways to give! Feel the love! Love is all you need! XOXO |

| A GIRL'S STORY |
The Club Girlstart after school program encourages girls to enroll and participate in advanced math and science classes. One parent describes the impact the program has made on her daughter. "Club Girlstart has made tremendous impact for Lauriel. She's an eighth grader this year and going on her third year with Girlstart. We encouraged our daughter to take Algebra from the onset of this program. It can be done due to your program and positive influence you've given these girls. She's proof the program works. She's looking towards a math, science or engineering career. Thanks to your program!" |
