After School Week 4

Soil Scientist

Girlstart’s soil scientists were busy analyzing different types of soil this week. They used their knowledge of soil composition to record their observations about the texture, color, and structure of five different soil types. The girls were then give five mysterious footprints and used their records to uncover which type of soil each footprint was made with. Lastly, our soil scientists matched the soil types to five characters they read about based on their job and work environment.
